I'm a 360 owner, laugh at some of the PS3 news.. But really, this is great news for any PS3 owners and for the Linux community.
For me, this is one area that might sell me the console, ok, it'll not make any money for Sony but I'll still have some fun and could get rid of my Linux PC and run off a PS3 instead, though Ram may be an issue.
I just know this will be worth the wait, even if for just Counterstrike Source and TFC!

Give us a break, as much as being a 360 fan, even I'm getting fed up with the garbage.
How about some 'happy' news for a change? And I don't mean happy as in - laugh cos it's the other console that's having a bad day..

I'd much rather have seen that games on my 360 at launch than PDZ anyday.
People seem to forget that with a console controller, we have two analogue inputs, analogue movement and analogue aim, whilst with a kb/mouse, you just have one, the aim. Though the aim would be better with a mouse, on a controller you have better control over movement.
It all makes sense now.. So they could known something out for a quid.. perhaps a Xbox 360 game and motion clipon for the controller in the price?
Fed up of hearing about half-baked games being released, better to delay and get it right so we can really see what the PS3 can deliver... I'm sure it'll be good when it comes out and the online will be cool too.
They should have delayed the launch of COD3 for the ps3 until they got the formula spot on..
<sigh> For a man who likes games with guns.. I am seriously spoilt at the moment.. I think I'll have to sneak pick this up in Jan when my Wifey isn't looking..

Am happy with my two 360s, may get a Wii end of nxt year. PS3.. No rumble? Forget it - that's definately last gen.
'Serious fault', Man, that's lame.
If I bought a console, and if it had ANY fault, I'd expect it to be replaced. This isn't some burger that didn't taste as nice it should have done, it's a piece of consumer electronic and should work flawlesly (minus software glitches and bugs that can be rectified).
